We are looking for a Home Manager for Adam's home in Peacehaven which has been purpose built to support Adam to leave a long- stay hospital and start to rebuild his life in the community.
We are looking for someone who has robust experience in this area as the role sits within our higher level 4 management banding. You will need to have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life, by using positive behaviour support and work within an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to people's wellbeing. You will need to be kind, patient, resilient, compassionate, proactive, and believe strongly in great leadership. The role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh.
Adam has been discriminated against, faced trauma, fallen between services, or ended up in hospital placements as community services could not be sourced. This is a real chance to be part of our successful programme of ensuring that everyone with a learning disability or autistic people are supported in their local communities, not in hospital settings. You will need to be adaptable, flexible, and be able to lead staff to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking.
